The best moment is yet to come
Success is a journey , not a destination.
More than 6 years ago , i came across this poster on Facebook ( success is a journey not a destination )
My journey started on the 25th of September on 1995. A child of two simple parents.
i grew up as a smart child whom everyone talks about her cleverness. I was able to see things people around me never notice, i was able to think about things people around me never think of, i loved to see the world around me outside the usual frame my environment puts me in.
I grew up thinking that i am going to change the world, starting with my small family up to my country and the whole world.
Once i think about my scientific discoveries that are going to change the face of the humanity, other times i see myself as a leader who led a social change and influence the community, a third time i imagine my self a political leader who stopped the war and govern the country into a united strong nation. my view for what i want to be was never clear, i just wanted to make a change, to leave a print.
I always waited for that magical moment in which all things are going to change, a turning point in which the godmother is going to bless everything. just one step and all things are going to be alright after then.
I thought this magical moment is going to be when i get to high school, i saw this as an opportunity to do a lot of things, to do scientific research, to start doing politics and to be an awesome social leader. Well, there were some labs and some scientific experiments, there were opportunities to talk and to initiate discussions , but i never got to be that star i am dreaming of.
I thought may be my expectations were not right and that magical moment will absolutely be during university years. There were lots of chances to do things but why did i never catch any opportunity ? because you never wait for moments, you create them , and i learned this lesson very late and very hard.
I was always waiting for the best moment and still, there is nothing such as the best moment, the moment when you start is your best moment , any moment can be the best moment if we are willing to make it so, but unfortunately not for an introvert, overthinker , and a perfectionist like me.
